The 3rd Saturday of the month this summer!
June 21st, July 19th and August 16th from 4pm - 9pm.
Come on down to the 2nd Sundance Summer Night! It will be held on 2nd, Main and 3rd Streets. Bring the kids and check out the First Responder equipment!
- Learn about flag etiquette and more at the Veterans booth at the Memorial! Observe the Battle of the Barrel!
- See the Sundance Kid get caught!!
- Try your hand at Cornhole or Minnow Racing! Attempt the Hotdog Eating Contest at Uncle Louies Diner!
- Kid Zone: Face Painting, Balloon Twisting, Chalk, Coloring, Bubbles, Ring Toss, Bowling, Hopscotch, Tic-Tac-Toe, Jumprope...
- Fill your punchcard at all the participating Downtown Businesses, and get entered into the drawing at 7:30pm! (Uncle Louies Diner, Turf Bar, Bruce Speidel Art Gallery, Longhorn Saloon and Grill, Villas Pharmacy, Serendipity Floral, and Crook County Museum. Need not be present to win. Pick up and drop off cards at Uncle Louie's Diner) Venture to Longhorn Saloon and Grill or Uncle Louies Diner for tasty dining!
- Grab ice cold drinks at either restaurant, or The Dime Horseshoe Bar or The Turf Bar! (Sundance is open container year round)
- Me, Myself and Tranquility will be providing massages on site!
4:30pm Hotdog Eating Contest at Uncle Louies Diner
5:00pm Battle of The Barrel on Main Street
5:30pm Firefighter and Sheriff's Deputy Chase Down the Sundance Kid Starting on 2nd St, to Main and then 3rd St.
6pm - 9pm: J.J. Kent with the Aces and 8s Band on 2nd St. Are you ready for a George Strait tribute? Kent has that smooth “real country” sound that hails from a golden age of country music with legends like George Strait, Travis Tritt and Willie Nelson. Kent’s music takes his audience on a journey back in time through storytelling and country music melodies we all know and love. Kent pulls his audience in, inspires many to dance and creates a Nashville authentic country music environment listeners can’t get enough of.
