Sheryl Klocker, President
Hi my name is Sheryl Klocker, and I am blessed to have been elected by my peers as your chamber of Commerce President. After having served 2 terms as a City Council member, this position seemed like a natural progression. I have lived in Sundance since I moved here as a teenager in 1977. I have watched this community grow and thrive and I am honored to have had a part in this endeavor. My husband Denis and I have raised a fine family of three daughters, all of whom graduated from school right here in Sundance. We have successfully built two thriving businesses here and are proud to call this fine little community home for more than 35 years.
Jeffrey Hare, Vice President
My wife and I have lived in the Sundance area for the last 7 years. Earlier this year, we sold our primary business and I am now semi-retired and have more time to be active in the community. I look forward to leveraging my business background to help Sundance grow and prosper.
I am a native of the Western Pennsylvania coal mine region. I graduated from Penn State with a B.S. in Accounting. I am a CPA (non-practicing) and hold an MBA in Finance from New York University. I have spent the last 30 years traveling the U.S. and Europe implementing financial systems, managing consulting teams, and providing strategic systems advice to a wide variety of companies. I have worked or consulted for Bristol-Myers Squibb, United Technologies, IBM, Viacom, Mesa Airlines, Merck, Seagrams, the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy and Department of Defense, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the United States Geological Survey, Forest Service, and National Park Service. I have started and operated two consulting businesses and managed divisions within IBM and other organizations. My focus has been on building teams to implement information technology around finance and accounting.
I am semi-retired now and looking forward to making a contribution to the community. My wife Sylvia continues to work as an RN at the Sundance Hospital. We spend as much time as we can riding our horses, traveling, working on our property, and generally enjoying the great Wyoming outdoors.
